Tai Po Waterfront Park
Overview
Situated within the New Territories, Tai Po Waterfront Park is a popular public open space located along Tolo Harbour. The park is spread across 22 hectares, the park offers a range of facilities, such as the Insect House, a flower garden, a model boat pool, a children’s playground, a kite-flying area, a 600-seat amphitheatre and a series of themed gardens. Stood tall in the middle of the park is the Spiral Lookout Tower, which offers scenic panoramic views of the city.
Opened in 1994, Tai Po Waterfront Park is a popular destination for families. When the weather is good
it’s nice to enjoy picnics on the large lawn overlooking the harbour. It is also the site of the annual Tai Po Dragon Boat Race. The race is held in the sea just off the park.
